JOIN A CURRICULUM LAB
A SMALL-GROUP INTENSIVE FOR LANGUAGE TEACHERS
THIS IS NOT A CONFERENCE
You've been to the conferences. You've come home inspired, notebooks full, head spinning - and then school starts and you're back in the classroom alone, figuring it out by yourself.
The Curriculum Lab is different.
Spend a focused day with a small group of language teachers (no more than 20) and an experienced Acquisition-Driven Instruction (ADI) and Comprehensible-Input (CI)Â practitioner who teaches students in a real classroom every day. Ask the questions you never get to ask. Go deep on the strategies that actually change what happens in your room on Monday morning.
Then stay connected. Three follow-up sessions throughout the school year mean you're never implementing alone. Bring your questions, your stuck moments, your wins. Your cohort will be there.Â
THIS IS A DEEP DIVE INTO CI CURRICULUM AND COMMUNITY
A Curriculum Lab is a full-day experience with an expert mentor teacher and a small cohort of colleagues who teach the same language you do. Five hours (with breaks, we promise) of real strategies, inspiring ideas, and tools you can apply immediately when you walk back into your classroom in the fall. And it doesn't end in July — each intensive includes three follow-up sessions throughout the school year so you stay connected and supported.
This is for Language teachers at any level who want to bring Acquisition-Driven Instruction into their classrooms, whether you're brand new to CI and ADI or looking to deepen what you already do.

Many Spanish teachers already understand the value of comprehensible input and know how language acquisition works. with RocĂo Jacoby
Wednesday, July 29 | 11am–4pm EST | Zoom | Limited to 20 participants.
Teaching elementary Spanish with CI is its own world. Strategies that work beautifully with older learners need to be reimagined for K–5: shorter attention spans, different energy, and the particular magic of young children encountering a new language for the very first time.Â
