FRENCH INTENSIVE:
Art & Conversation
FIVE MORNINGS.
FIVE WORKS OF ART.
One week to bring your French to life.
There’s something special that happens when you stand in front of a great piece of art and try to describe what you’re feeling - in French.
Each morning we’ll meet on Zoom and spend time with one painting, sculpture, or photograph. We’ll begin by simply looking in silence. Then we’ll talk - really talk - about what we see, what moves us, what surprises us, and what questions come up.
This isn’t a lecture, it’s a shared experience where you’ll speak, write, and listen-- all centered around beautiful art.
By the end of the week, you’ll see art differently… and you’ll speak French with more confidence and depth.
Â
No pressure. No grammar drills.
No memorizing vocabulary.
Just an effortless approach that works.

"The Art and Conversation class is interesting, compelling and fun! Â Sometimes I forget that I am speaking French I get so caught up in trying to share my thoughts. YOUR INSTRUCTOR:
Alice Ayel
Â
Alice Ayel is a Parisian-born French teacher and the creator of Le Français Naturellement, with over 15 years of experience teaching adults, seniors, and homeschooling families online.
After years of teaching French the traditional way, and watching students memorize verbs they couldn't use, she discovered Story Listening, a method based on how humans actually acquire language. The transformation was immediate: students who had struggled for years suddenly started getting French. The anxiety disappeared. The joy appeared.Â
Today, Alice is known internationally for her warm, unhurried, story-centered approach. She teaches you to be gentle with yourself through the messy, beautiful process of acquisition — and her students, from retirees to language teachers to homeschool families, consistently say the same thing: this is the first time French has actually felt possible.
